Dr Melanie Clothier

Qualification/ Education/ Training.

Melanie graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2009 (MBBS).

In 2012, Melanie completed a Diploma in Child Health from The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney.

Melanie has a Certificate in Women’s Health through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Career Path

Melanie spent a couple of years in Box Hill Hospital , Maroondah Hospital , Peter James Centres , Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Angliss Hospital as an intern and resident working in General Medicine, General Surgery, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Emergency, Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Melanie is a GP Registrar at Belgrave Medical Clinic for 2012.

Current Work Status

Melanie has worked at Belgrave Medical Clinic since February 2012. Melanie is available for consultations on Monday to Friday.  Her special interests include paediatrics, women’s health and aged care.  

Personal

In her spare time Melanie enjoys bike riding, baking, having good coffee out with friends.

Melanie has always aspired to become a GP.
