Current Work Status

Dr Kaushik Prajapati joined the team at Belgrave Medical Clinic in May 2024.

Dr Prajapati also works at Northern Private Hospital and Mitcham Private Hospital, and can admit patients requiring hospitilisation.

 

Career History

Dr Kaushik Prajapati has a specific interest in chronic kidney disease, perioperative medicine and its related issues. He prides himself on being a highly professional doctor with over 10 years’ experience in various medical departments. Whilst working in India, he was exposed to a wide range of patients. In addition to this, Kaushik also has worked in central Australia with indigenous communities which helped him to gain a better understanding of his patient’s culture and their background in the context of illness and treatment. Also after having worked for four years in North Queensland, he can apply his knowledge of tropical medicine along with general medicine to appropriate patient cohorts in critical situations. Initially as an advanced trainee and then as a general
medicine physician, he has worked with various metropolitan hospitals including Eastern health, Austin health and Northern health.

Kaushik has experience in successfully managing patients with complex co-morbidities, through his high level of care which allows him to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.
